English term or phrase: method of disposition
Taken from a certificate of death

Method of disposition:
Burial
Cremation
Donation

I know what is meant, but I don't know how to say it nicely in German (Entsorgungsverfahren doesn't sound very nice, does it?). Any help very much appreciated.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I decided on this one because of the donation option. I personally considered "Bestattungsart" too strict in this case. And I also didn't mind the "Behördendeutsch" in an official certificate. I consider it a pity that we cannot split points, because "Bestattungsart" is also a first class translation, but for my specific purpose I decided on "Verbringen".

neutral  BrigitteHilgner: In German, this sounds horrible! You get rid of (= entledigen) the garbage, but (unless you work for the Mafia) not human bodies.
