English to German translations [PRO] General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters / general | | English term or phrase: influence specialist programmes | Hi everyone,
I have problems understanding part of the following sentence, particularly the part "influence specialist programmes".
"The xxx was one of the first projects of its kind in the UK and was influence specialist programmes for male perpetrators of domestic violence in the United States."
Could that mean that the project leans on to the US-modell?
Or is there something wrong with the sentence? (There are many mistakes of all kind in the source text).
Thanks a lot for any idea!

| | | wurde beeinflusst von speziellen Programmen | Explanation: the English part is not correct to start with which can only add to your problem. It should at least read something like "was influenced by
specalist (or special) programs geared to male perpetrators ..... |

| Grading comment Hi there,
thanks a lot! I think your solution is right. Finally, I found something on their website, implying that the project was oriented on US-programmes.
