Es geht um die International Trade Policy eines weltweit tätigen US-Unternehmens ABC, insbesondere darum, was die Mitarbeiter alles NICHT dürfen, z. B. Produkte des Unternehmens verkaufen, wenn der Zweck ein (durch Sanktionen oder Embargo) verbotener ist.
"ABC has an ***affirmative responsibility*** to examine situations that suggest that the customer may be using ABC products in such activities."
Unter "bejahender Verantwortung" kann ich mir nichts vorstellen.
Etwa: "ABC ist dafür verantwortlich - und kommt dieser Verantwortung gern nach - ..."??
