General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters / Berufsbezeichnung | | English term or phrase: field administrator | | Es geht um einen Dokumentarfilm über "Area 51", ein geheimes Testgelände des US-Militärs, auf dem vor allem Flugzeugprotopypen wie die U-2 erprobt wurden. Als ein ehemaliger Mitarbeiter zu Wort kommt wird neben seinem Namen auch seine Funktion als Text eingeblendet: FIELD ADMINISTRATOR. Irgendwelchen Kontext etwa in Form von Beschreibungen was dieser Mann da genau gemacht hat gibt es nicht. Ich weiß jetzt nicht ob das "field" sich hier auf das Gelände bezieht, man den Begriff also etwa mit "Geländeverwalter" übersetzen könnte, oder ob "field" hier eine andere Bedeutung hat. Gibt es vielleicht jemanden bei dem sofort der Groschen fällt bei diesem Begriff? |
