Als Anschlussfrage zu meiner Frage von gestern (http://kurz.es/d5235d):

Derzeit übersetze ich einen kurzen Text zu RNA/RNS (aus Großbritannien).
Im Text kommt folgender Absatz vor:

"The simple spin-column procedure is convenient and easy to use, allowing RNA and protein isolation without the need for phenol or chloroform. Highly efficient ***on-column digestion*** of genomic DNA provides highly purified RNA samples and each fraction, RNA or protein, is ready to use for further processing or analysis."

=> Weiß jemand, was "on-column digestion" in diesem Zusammenhang heißt? Danke!

Verdau auf der Säule

Explanation:

"Der hocheffiziente Verdau von genomischer DNA auf der Säule ..." - bezieht sich m. E. auf die zuvor erwähnte Spinsäule.

z. B.:
Nach dem Bindungsschritt der DNA auf der Säule (Schritt 4 im Handbuch) wurde ein DNA-Verdau auf der Säule durchgeführt. Hierzu wurde mit dem RNase-Free DNase Set (Qiagen) gearbeitet.

Es wurde ein DNA-Verdau auf der Säule mit RNase-freier DNase I (Qiagen) durchgeführt.
