English term or phrase: a translocation juxtaposing gene x and/with gene y

Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a sarcoma associated with a specific **translocation juxtaposing the collagen 1a1 gene with the PDGFA [sic!] gene**, resulting in an autocrine growth factor, with imatinib as an inhibitor of the PDGF pathway.

Meinen Recherchen zufolge führt diese Translokation zur Fusion des Kollagen-1a1-Gens mit dem PDGFB-Gen (nicht PDGFA!).

In der deutschsprachigen Literatur ist mir die Formulierung "Gen x und Gen y werden nebeneinandergestellt" bzw. "Gen x wird neben Gen y gestellt" nicht untergekommen; daher würde ich von einer "Fusion" sprechen:

"Beim Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) handelt es sich um einen Sarkomtyp, der mit einer spezifischen Translokation in Zusammenhang steht, die zur Fusion des Kollagen-1a1-Gens mit dem PDGFB -Gen und dadurch zur Bildung eines autokrinen Wachstumsfaktors führt; hier wird Imatinib gezielt als Inhibitor des PDGF-Signalwegs eingesetzt."
