English to German translations [PRO]

English term or phrase: Moukina Mouroudiep

Hello India fans,

does someone of you have a detailed map of Kerala? If yes, could you please look for the coastal village of "Moukina Mouroudiep" [sic!]?

I have to translate and proofread a film script where practically all geographical names are misspelled.

The whole sequence goes as follows:

"In India, it’s always a good idea to compare information to obtain an objective opinion. The group has moved further north to the village of **Moukina Mouroudiep**. Access to the beach is difficult, but there are plenty of children willing to show them a track through the coconut grove leading to a good surfing spot."

Ausgangspunkt für "further North" war der südlichste Punkt Indiens: Kanyakumari/Cape Comorin.

Was war der Ausgangspunkt für "further North". Könnte helfen. Ort ist nicht in Indian Empire map 1918 oder in NGS von 1988.

It's my job to proofread the proper names that appear in the script. All these places exist, but are spelled in funny ways. I suppose this village is too small to be mentioned in a link like yours. Therefore my question is addressed to people who have been to Kerala and still have a map lingering somewhere on their shelves (a very old-fashioned way of looking for something, I know, but I suppose you must be a genious to find this place online).
