mein Text enthält leider einige Begriffe aus einem Gebiet, in dem ich mich fast überhaupt nicht auskenne.
Ich werde da sicher auch noch 2 weitere Fragen stellen.
Kontext:
- ABC acquire the first multiclient wide-azimuth
- XYZ will underwrite a major portion of the first exploration multiclient wide-azimuth (WAZ) towed-streamer survey
- ABC can set the standard for wide-azimuth design, acquisition and processing
wie ich es sehe, bleibt WAZ als Abkürzung im Deutschen stehen, oder?

Im Dt. heißt es "Azimut", und die Referenz (und die Quelle) zeigt, daß ich es hier wohl wie der Kollege machen kann und den Begriff so belassen kann.
