Explanation:
Diese Art des Quarzits ist nach dem Gog-See in der Nähe von Mount Assiniboine in Kanada benannt.

Ein türkisblauer See und dahinter die mächtige Felsbastion der Ramparts, schroffe Zacken aus Gog-Quarzit, einer harten aber teilweise auch spröden Mischung aus Sandstein und Kieselerde.
