Die Übersetzung könnte daher so lauten:
Bei Blairs Ankunft auf Bushs Ranchs drängte sich die Frage auf, ...

Korrektur: \"auf Bushs Ranch in Texas\"

Obwohl der englische Satz im Präsenz gehalten ist, scheint es hier wohl um die Beschreibung eines vergangenen Ereignisses zu gehen, daher würde ich Imperfekt vorziehen.
