English to German translations [PRO] Government / Politics | | English term or phrase: Level 2 advices | State of play
The EACB has answered to all consultations and the position papers are published on CESR website. At the end of January, CESR has sent to the Commission its final advice on the content of the first set of implementing measures advice under the MiFID. The second set of **Level 2 advices**, which covers intermediaries and markets, should be submitted to the European Commission by the end of April 2005. When completed, CESR’s advices on first and second set of mandates will assist the European Commission in developing a legal text which will take the form of either a Regulation or a Directive. Given the level of complexity, the level of details and the consequential debate arisen, Commissioner Mc. Creevy has pre-announced a possible delay in the introduction of the MiFID for about a year. |
