I am looking for the German translation of the English word "Tridentine." It means, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, "Of or pertaining to the city of Trent in Tyrol, or to the Council of the Roman Catholic Church held there (1545-63)." It is an adjective.
I am asking for a translation specifically in reference to the sixteenth century Council that was held in the city of Trent, not the city itself, if that makes a difference.
