Archaeological Malta
Malta’s pre history dates back to about 7500 years BC and evidence to this lays in the many Neolithic temples found on the island. These temples are in fact the oldest free standing man made structures in the world and are even older than Stonehenge and the Pyramids. The tour starts by a visit to the Archaeology museum in Valletta, followed by a site visit to the **arxien temples** which date back to 2800 BC. At the museum there is a wide selection of artefacts and antiquities covering the whole period.

Hat da jemand schon was von gehört? Gibt es hier einen Malta-Experten/Expertin? Google spuckt für "arxien" leider fast nichts aus, ich habe somit überhaupt keine Vorstellung, was das sein könnte. Ich dachte erst es wäre ein Typo für "ancient", aber das ist es wohl auch nicht.
