English term or phrase: bounty jumper
In Wikipedia, English, heißt es heute:
"that a ***bounty jumper***, Adam Worth (pictured), became the inspiration for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional villain Professor Moriarty?"
Was ist damit gemeint?

Definitions: "bounty jumper" - a person who enlists for a cash bounty and then deserts and re-enlists elsewhere".
"bounty hunter" - someone who pursues fugitives or criminals for whom a reward is offered".
