I am editing internal human resources software.
The original was:
Grade - Displays the position grade for the internal positions held at XYZ
which was translated as:
Gehaltsstufe - Informationen zur Gehaltsstufe der internen Positionen bei XYZ
The new source is:
Grade/Band - Displays the position grade or broad band for the internal positions held at XYZ.
Now honestly I have no idea what "broad band" could mean in this context.

Hier kann es sich m.E. nur um die Bandbreiten (von...bis) der Gehaltsstufen handeln. Dabei werden meist überschneidende Gehaltsstufen in z.B. 2000er-Schritten abgebildet.
Daraus sind die Mindest- und Höchstlöhne der einzelnen Funktionen in einem Unternehmen ablehsbar.
