Unfortunately, there is no context, it is just a description on a business card. The person's job is "client principal" and I am looking for the corresponding term in German.
When looking for client principals on Monster.com I only found the following description: "Engaged in new business, you'll define and implement sales strategies and plans that will outperform quota and deliver net profit."

Yes, I think that's basically what it means, but I am searching for the German word. "Hauptkundenberater" comes to my mind, but it doesn't sound very good. So I am grateful for any other suggestion.

Explanation: client heißt nicht nur Kunde, Klient, sondern auch "abhängig" - während principal u.a. als "(auf eigene Rechnung) kaufender Händler" aufgeführt wird -
auch die Wortsequenz lässt auf eine solche Lösung schließen - vielleicht findest du in dieser Richtung eine passende Bezeichnung? :-))

Ich glaube nicht an die Lösung von Jonathan, weil principal eher eine führende Position ausdrückt, Direktor oder so, das passt nicht zur Beratung...
