English term or phrase: all rounder
Context: "There are plenty of skills within XXX (name of the computer game) that you can work at. You could train your character to be an all rounder or you can specialize and perhaps earn a living practising a craft such as cooking or crafting. The choice is yours and with the large selection of skills available you will definitely be spoilt for choice. You control your own character and will improve and become more powerful the more you play".

My comment : Each player in the game has a "character" that he "creates" by getting him to acquire particular skills.

So far I have come up with "XXX gibt Ihnen die Moeglichkeit eine Menge von Fertigkeiten erwerben. Sie koennen Ihrem Character vielfaelgtige Fertigkeiten beibringen oder sie koennen etc "

"Vielseitige Fertigkeiten / Kompetenzen ???"

I wouldn t like to repeat "Fertigkeiten" twice and am certain that there is a better way of putting it.

The kind of skills that the characters learn have to do with completing quests, killing monsters and winning treasures.

Unfortunately I have to go now but will be back on Sunday evening UK time. I would be grateful for any suggestions or comments.

Generalist

Explanation:
