Zu band-aid (ohne e) habe ich gefunden: a temporary solution to a problem that does not solve it at all.
Könnte band-aid(e) fixes dann sowas wie 'provisorische Lösungen' sein?

besser als "provisorisch" finde ich "oberflächlich", im Kontrast zu "zu Grunde liegend", an der Wurzel - ist aber vielleicht Geschmackssache ;-)
