English to German translations [PRO]

"Please note that some of the content in this section (particularly Performance Management Process, Global People Policies and the New Employee Personal Learning Plan) will not be applicable for interns, ***co-ops***, or bargained-for employees. Consult your HRD Client Advisor or Learning Coordinator for more information."
"Interns" dürften Praktikanten sein. Daraus schließe ich messerscharf, dass mit "co-ops" wohl Zeitarbeitskräfte gemeint sein könnten, habe aber für diese Interpretation keinerlei Stütze gefunden.

Bei IBM gibt es eine recht ausführliche Erklärung, worin der Unterschied besteht:
As a co-op, you would be enrolled in a cooperative education program at an accredited four- or five-year college or university pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree. You can work any time of the year, including part-time, and can be enrolled in either a technical or nontechnical discipline. Most managers prefer co-ops to work a six-to-seven-month period although there is flexibility within this requirement.

Da diese Art von Praktikum in deutschen Studiengängen noch nicht allzu häufig zu finden ist (allerdings vor allem in den neueren Bachelors am Kommen ist), könnte man es entweder (je nachdem wie Dein Satzbau ist) umschreiben, also beispielsweise "studienbegleitendes Praktikum" oder "studentische Praktikanten" o.ä., oder - je nachdem für wen Du übersetzt, auch den englischen Begriff lassen und in Klammern eine kurze Erklärung einfügen.

P.S.: Wenn Du Wikipedia vertraust, dann sind Co-ops im deutschsprachigen Raum von der Berufsakademie. Da ich selbst von der Uni bin und mit BAs nicht viel zu tun habe, kann das vielleicht jemand anders noch bestätigen.
