Tech/Engineering - Human Resources
English term or phrase: air permitting
The expression is used in one of the questions in a HR-questionnaire: Do you have experience in *Air Permitting*?

The questionnaire consists of a long list single questions such as the one above and "Do you have experience using HMI?" "Do you have experience with MRP-Systems?".

I have not the slightest idea what air permitting means - is there someone out there who knows their way round technology and engineering terms? Your help would be much appreciated.

Explanation:

Asker: Thanks for your answer, Katja, I think you were one the right track. In the end, I never got clarification by the client, but just the note "leave it as is" - very unsatisfying, but I've still got no idea if the suggestions were right in this context.

agree  David Moore: I think you earned the agree, you just got there first...I think it ought to be "air permiting" (only one "t", purely to facilitate comprehension). Katja, my bet is it will be "experience in making applications for clean air permits" or similar

Luftqualitätsgenehmigungen

Explanation:

Also etwa:
