Der "business letter" ist ein Dokument, in dem die Erfolgsprämienvereinbarungen des betreffenden Mitarabeiters genannt werden.
Ich finde es zwar super, dass ich jetzt endlich weiß, WAS es ist, aber damit ist das Übersetzungsproblem noch nicht ganz behoben. Wie wäre es mit "Erfolgsprämienvertrag"?
Frage, Judith-Du kennst den Text in seiner Gesamtheit, ist Dir dabei schon die Idee gekommen, er könnte von einem Nicht-Muttersprachler stammen? Der einfach nicht weiß, was ein business letter normalerweise ist?
It sounds to me a bit like a summary one would put in a cover note accompanying a CV, or more like a marketing style profile of an employee summarizing his or her achievements in the company.
das hat mit 'aufgeben' nichts zu tun, aber das scheint mir ein Fall, wo eine Anfrage an den Kunden für ihn und den Übersetzer das beste Ergenis bringt. Kein Raten auf Kosten der Qualität.
