English term or phrase: based (hier)
Mir fällt für "based" hier nichts Vernünftiges ein. (Der Text ist leider wirklich so fehlerhaft wie von mir zitiert.)Und agents = Personalverantwortliche?

You need to identify the language that you are writing the CV in. By default this will be your native or language you have already set. The change CV option allows you to built and promote your CV to *agents* who are searching for people *based* in particular language. For example: If you wish to select jobs in Germany you will be greatly improve your prospects by having a CV in their native language for these agents and employers to search.

German translation:'aus diesem Sprachraum'
Explanation:
'aus diesem Sprachraum' würde herrlich offen lassen, ob das nun geographisch oder sprachlich gemeint ist. Agents könnten übrigens tatsächlich Agenten, also virtuelle Vermittlungshilfen sein.

ansässig o. sesshaft (seßhaft)

Explanation:
in English you're normally based in a place/country, not in a language.

To get around it how about sth. like 'ansässig/seßhaft in einem bestimmten Sprachraum o. -gebiet' or z.B. '... im XXX-sprachigen Raum'?

Not a native speaker.

people based in particular language(s)
Leute, die bestimmte Sprachen sprechen/können

Explanation:
IMO "based" is a poor choice here... You could use "Leute, die in bestimmten Sprachen arbeiten".

"Agents" are "Agenten" or "Kopfjäger" (IMO).
