Idioms / Maxims / Sayings / rock'n'roll | | English term or phrase: straighten out / unstraighten out | Noch eine Phrase aus dem Interview mit Iggy Pop:
"Then you made Lust for Life, a great solo album. You had *straightened out*. And then you... *unstraightened out*. Why?
I had straightened... I had become drunk and occasionally stoned. I had had... relapses, honestly."
Es geht um die Zeit vor Lust for Life, als Iggy Pop alles im Griff hatte und ein großartiges Album herausbrachte, und die Zeit danach, als er sich in Berlin mit Koks zudeckte und sich praktisch versteckte, bis David Bowie ihn rausholte und wieder auf die Beine half.
Mir will einfach nichts Passendes, Prägnantes eben für jenes "straighten/unstraighten out" einfallen.
