Aha! Was so ein bisschen Kontext ausmacht ;)) Nach der Erklärung, dass es um Personen geht, würde ich eher sagen:
jemand erregt sofortiges Missfallen, jemand eckt an, jemand fällt unangenehm auf (wie von Susanne vorgeschlagen).
“Aus dem Rahmen fallen” ist nicht unbedingt negativ besetzt - ein 'sore thumb' dagegen sehr!
