This is from a letter from the president of ACN (direct marketing phone company) to its representatives (sales people). It starts with
"2008 is officially in full swing! It’s hard to believe another year has passed – and what a year it was." and goes on about the success of the company.

Could I have some brilliant suggestions for this first sentence, please? ;-) Can be quite free.

Explanation:
It's not a process or developement - which would justify the usual German translation "in vollem Gange". It's about the new year, thus my suggestion to translate more freely.
