English term or phrase: Know your mama
Situation: Drehbuch, zwei israelische Soldaten reden beim Joggen über Mädels. Text:
"Jerry
… She is one of many, you know.
You have no idea how many are there.
David
Where is there?
Jerry
Funerals, Bro. Memorials.
David
You’re a sick man.
Jerry
That’s what she said.
David
Who, Anne?
Jerry
*Know your mama.*"

Meine Übersetzung: "Frag mal deine Mama". Davor gibt es eine ähnliche Stelle:

"They are standing on the path and pee.

David
Grandma, how come your dick is so big?
Jerry
Respect bro, respect.
David
How do girls withstand it?
They finish peeing and close their flies. They start running side by side, conversation is conducted as they are running.
Jerry
That is something you need to *ask your mother*.
David laughs humbly."

Helens Vorbehalt ist berechtigt, aber da der Text voller Fehler ist, nehmen wir die genial um die Ecke gedachte Lösung von Matthias. Danke beiden! Man lernt nie aus...
