agree  Roland Nienerza: "dieses Jahr" ist, als temporaler Akkusativ, grammatisch ok. "in diesem Jahr" klingt aber nicht nur hübscher, es vermeidet auch das implizite Missverständnis, zumindest in diesem Satzfragment, dass die Firma das Jahr auf ein Spendenkonto einzahlen will.

  -> auf dieses Missverständnis wäre ich nun nicht gekommen, schon allein, weil der Satz ja ne Fortsetzung verlangt (was wo an wen) aber mag sein, "in diesem Jahr" klingt vielleicht wirklich besser, danke

"wie bisher"(?) "...spenden die Firmen in diesem Jahr ..." So könnte man die Komplikationen mit "anstatt" und "anstelle", "season," "Jahr" vermeiden?
