aus einem Artikel über die Versicherungswirtschaft während und vor der Nazizeit in D und Osteuropa:

In 1924, the Czech Ministry of the Interior promulgated a regulation barring insurance companies from issuing policies denominated in anything but Czech currency.

This was amended in 1933 to include *gold-based policies* as well.

Das kann doch hier nur übertragen gemeint sein, oder gab es Policen mit Goldwert?

Was soll daran ungewöhnlich sein? Die Erfahrungen mit der Inflation in Deutschland lagen doch 1933 gerade erst ein paar Jahre zurück.

Sogar die Kündigung des Bretton Woods-Abkommens für den Golddeckungsstandard der Währung erfolgte erst 1971!

Was soll daran ungewöhnlich sein? Die Erfahrungen mit der Inflation in Deutschland lagen doch 1933 gerade erst ein paar Jahre zurück.
