Explanation:
The standard practice is to leave the original English title (there are no "official" translations of U.S. GAAP pronouncements, in contrast to IASs/IFRSs) and to add a convenience German translation in brackets. Here's an example I found (Zurich Financial Services Q1/2004 interim report):

"Das Positionspapier 03-01 ("SOP 03-01") des AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) - "Accounting and Reporting by Insurance Enterprises for Certain Nontraditional Long-Duration Contracts and for Separate Accounts" (Rechnungslegung und Ausweis von bestimmten nicht-traditionellen, langfristigen Verträgen sowie Anlagen für Rechnung und Risiko von Inhabern von Lebensversicherungspolicen) - tritt im Jahr 2004 in Kraft."

Explanation:
