Es geht um eine Auszeichung bei einer Euromoney-Umfrage:

"By product, XXX captured third place for structured notes/MTNs and ABS provision, while fourth place was secured in benchmark/vanilla issues. "

vanilla kann ja "einfach" bedeuten, vielleicht "einfache Benchmark-Angelegenheiten"? Oder kann man es gar im Englischen lassen (Benchmark/Vanilla-Angelegenheiten)?

Sowohl "Benchmark" als auch "Vanilla" werden fachsprachlich auch im Deutschen übernommen. "issues" hingegen bedeutet in diesem Kontext nicht Angelegenheiten, sondern Emissionen!

neutral  Cetacea: "Routine-Option" ist mir noch nie untergekommen, "Vanilla-Option" dagegen schon. Ausserdem: Woher weisst Du, dass es sich um Optionen handelt? Das englische Original spricht nur von "issues", also Emissionen.
