After turning neutral on German bonds at our last committee meeting, we also took profits over the month on our hedging positions on ***US rates***. This was due to the brutal shift in ***rates*** which saw the yield on 10 year treasuries bounce by 115bp from its low of 2.38% at the beginning of October to a peak 3.53% in the middle of December. True, economic momentum in the US was favourable but the move was nevertheless very fast given the Fed’s monetary stance.
Mir ist nicht klar, worauf die Hedging-Positionen im ersten Satz eingegangen wurden und ob es sich bei den "rates" im zweiten Satz um dieselben "rates" wie im ersten Satz handelt. Ich habe "US rates" vorläufig mit "US-Zinsen" (im Sinne von US-Anleihezins, nicht US-Leitzins) übersetzt, da die Anleihekurse offensichtlich nicht gemeint sein können. |

das dürften Bezugnahmen auf Zinsen bzw. die Zinsposition des Fonds sein. Der einzige inhaltliche Unterschied liegt darin, dass man bei einer expliziten Bezugnahme auf zehnjährige Emissionen eher von "Rendite(n)" spricht.
"Nachdem wir unsere Einschätzung für deutsche Anleihen bei der letzen [Anlage-]Ausschusssitzung auf "neutral" geändert hatten, realisierten wir im Monatsverlauf - vor dem Hintergrund der dramatischen Renditeänderung - auch Gewinne auf unsere US-Zinssicherung. Die Rendite zehnjähriger US-Treasuries..."
