Ich nochmal :)

Ausgangssatz:

"While industrial production, leading indicators and durable goods figures exceeded expectations, the sharp equity market selloff belied the fragility of the economy."

Meine aktuelle Version:

"Während die Zahlen bei Industrieproduktion, Frühindikatoren und Gebrauchsgütern die Erwartungen übertrafen, täuschte der heftige Ausverkauf auf dem Aktienmarkt über die Anfälligkeit der Wirtschaft hinweg."

Ist "belie" im Ausgangstext falsch? Weil eigentlich zeigt so ein Ausverkauf doch genau die Anfälligkeit der Wirtschaft auf...
