· Low comparable buy-out multiple, equating to the pay-back in years for a trade or financial buyer. The buy-out multiple is the market capitalisation plus net debt divided by the operating profit. It is a measure of how many years of present operating profits you need to pay back your investment if you were to buy out the entire company (at market price and therefore taking on any existing debt or cash as well).
