Es geht wohl um Benutzerkonten in einer Serveranwendung. Damit diese Serveranwendung die zugriffsberechtigung nicht selbst speichert und prüft, wir diese durch den Active Directory Server gemacht, wo ja sowieso schon alle Benutzer einer Domaine verwaltet werden.
Bei einem Mailserver werden ja auch Benutzer bzw. Postfächer angelegt. Damit dort die Passwörter nicht noch einmal gespeichert werden, kann die Prüfung direkt vom AD durchgeführt werden. |
