Does anybody know how to translate "default asset" into German? I don't think it's possible to translate it directly.

Im Zusammenhang würde das dann heißten:

This could be a possibility.
But without more context its not really sure.
An "asset" in IT is usually either a piece of hardware infrastructure, or a program. The above covers both.
