Dieses Monster bereitet mir Kopfschmerzen und keine zufriedenstellende Übersetzung geht mir durch die Birne.

Change Approval = Änderungsgenehmigung ist schon klar, aber dieses "standard...... process" drumherum macht mich.........

The benefit of the new procedure is that the Service Planning ordering process will not be done before RFC CAB approval.
Instead, it will be part of the ***standard Change approval process*** (ITS process R2.2.2), which makes the whole process shorter.
The new procedure utilizes XXX ServiceDesk as an important Production Services tool.

"change approval" als Wortpaar im übrigen Text würde ich mit "Änderungsfreigabe" übersetzen - so kenne ich es aus meiner IT-Zeit.

Asker: Das hat mich auch verwirrt, denn im ganzen Text findet man "change approval" als einen zusammenhängenden Begriff!
