Gemeint ist die in der Konzernzentrale für Information Services und Information Technology zuständige Abteilung (im Gegensatz zu den einzelnen Landesabteilungen, das wäre dann IS/IT Germany oder IS/IT Austria zB).

Ich habe mal in einem amerikanischen Konzern gearbeitet, in der Österreichniederlassung. Wir haben immer "Corporate IT" gesagt, es wurde nicht übersetzt.

Wichtig ist die Unterscheidung zur lokalen EDV-Abteilung im eigenen Land. Wenn es übersetzt wird, müsste der Begriff "Konzern" oder "Zentrale" vorkommen. Es handelt sich um die Abteilung, die WELTWEIT für IS/IT zuständig ist. |
