Meine CL bezieht sich auf die Übersetzung des Satzes; was die Zahlen angeht, müsstest du noch abklären.

Diese Meldung ist zwar aus dem Jahr 2006, sooo lange ist das aber nicht her, weswegen ich wie gesagt auch 8 Prozent für denkbar halte:

Außerdem habe kaum ein Händler ein Kartenlesegerät (weniger als 1 Prozent von 500.000 Kassenterminals), das bei Kreditkarten den Chip lesen kann.

Achja, mit "wie gesagt" beziehe ich mich auf meinen Diskussionsbeitrag. Und "point of sale" ist für mich (vor allem in diesem Fall) die Kasse.
