I'm sure this is a piece of cake for the IT specialists among you. Anwendungsentwicklungstechnologien is a compound that just doesn't seem very elegant, even in German.

Maybe this would be sufficient, if "Anwendungsentwicklungstechnik" or "Technik der Anwendungsentwicklung" also don't sound good to the German ear.

Explanation:
Nachdem das so oft im Fragebogen vorkommt, wäre es evt. auch eine Möglichkeit, am Anfang einmal "Technologien der Anwendungsentwicklung" oder was ähnliches zu verwenden und gleichzeitig eine Kurzform (z.B. "Entwicklungstechnologien") in Klammern einzuführen und die dann später immer zu verwenden.
