Artikel in einer Wirtschaftszeitung, in dem es um die bevorstehende Verkleinerung des Time-Warner-Konzerns geht. Könnte man das hier wörtlich übersetzen - "Die Kabel kappen"? Oder vielleicht eher: "Das Ende der Kabelsparte"?

Does a break-up make sense? “I believe strongly in trial and error, and Time Warner needs to move faster, take more risk and change course more often,” says Mr Bewkes. If he got rid of cable, AOL's access business and Time Inc, he would be left with two movie studios, some highly desirable cable channels and an online-advertising business. Together these units' revenues amount to a little over half of Time Warner's total. The good news, says a rival media executive, is that Time Warner would be a cleaner company and its share price would go up; but “the bad news is that he's a much smaller company and potentially vulnerable to takeover.”

Explanation:
... fiel mir spontan ein, aber vielleicht etwas zu abwegig bzw. zu technisch. (Aber es wäre von der übertragenen Bedeutung relativ nah am Original.)

"Kabelsalat" fiel mir auch noch ein (aber das suggeriert natürlich etwas Chaotisches, also wohl unpassend).

Was Brauchbares dabei? :-)

  -> Sorry, I disagree with your disagree. Natürlich geht es um die Kabelsparte. Aber es geht auch ums Finden einer kreativen Überschrift, die die Doppeldeutigkeit des Originals nach Möglichkeit beibehält.
