I normally avoid any legal translation like the plague - so I am not sure why I accepted this SLA! The rest is fine but I have problems with this particular little phrase. How best do I translate "As witness the hands of" (God, I hate legalese!). Would be grateful for any suggestions, thanks!

agree  Katja Schoone: Ich übersetzt das auch regelmäßig mit "ZUR URKUND DESSEN", warum einfacher machen, wenn es der Ausgangstext nicht hergibt. Rechtssprache ist eben eine eigene Sprache und zwar in jeder Sprache ;-)
