Hallo!

Aus dem Vertrag der letzten Fragen:
"Mr XXX agrees that for this period of time he shall hold the office as managing director."

Wie ist "office" hier zu verstehen? Ist verstehe es quasi als Stellenbezeichnung, aber könnten vielleicht auch tatsächlich die Räumlichkeiten gemeint sein?

agree  Andrea Melletat: Finde diese Variante sprachlich besser als Davids, aber der Hinweis auf den richtigen Terminus "to hold the office of" halte ich auch für wichtig.

  -> Danke. Wenn er den Posten für einen Zeitraum "annimmt", schließt das auch nicht aus, dass er vorher auch schon MD war. Letztendlich kann man alle 3 Varianten nehmen, sie sagen eigentlich alle das gleiche aus...
