Vertrag über Lieferbedingungen:
Im Kapitel "Einhaltung gesetzlicher Bestimmungen" taucht mehrmals der Begriff 'citation' auf. Mir ist nicht klar, was er in folgenden Sätzen genau bedeutet. Die üblichen Bedeutungen "Zitat/Anführung" und "Vorladung" scheinen beide nicht zu passen:

"This compliance shall be limited to all standards, regulations Issued and/or Interpretations (in ***citations*** or judgments made) prior to the Delivery Date. "

und

"It is understood that such redesign and modification effort shall be paid for by XYZ; If such redesign and modification is required due to changes In code, health act violation or ***citation***, or Interpretations of same after the Delivery Date; based on Supplier's actual costs to do the work and a reasonable premium for emergency basis assistance should it be necessary."

Explanation:
in the US, a citation is one level below a ticket; the former will not go against a person's record
So, if they say 'citations or judgments' they are covering the executive and the law (the two institutions that can enforce actions/non-actions)
Such a citation could also come from a health department, or for violationsof safety standards, etc.
