Gibt es eine deutsche Entsprechung für diesen Begriff?

Ich denke, es geht um ein "Vertretungsverhältnis". Ergibt sich für mich auch aus der folgenden Passage: neither party shall have, expressly or by implication, the power to represent itself as having any authority to make contracts in the name of or binding upon the other, or to obligate or bind the other in any manner whatsoever

"principal and agent" ist mE "Auftraggeber und Auftragnehmer" (Auftragsverhältnis, Vertrag)
Bei "master and servant" geht es mE mehr um das Verhältnis "Dienstherr"Geschäftsherr und Gehilfe" (es geht hier um die Frage, ob der Geschäftsherr für das Verschulden seiner Gehilfen einzustehen hat)

Mir ist noch etwas aufgefallen. Ganz am Anfang steht doch "independent contractor", also es geht es um unabhängige Unternehmer. Daher halte ich in diesem Fall "Arbeitgeber-Arbeitnehmer" für nicht korrekt.
@hazmatgerman: Der Vertrag enthält eine Klausel bzgl. der Übersetzung, sollten Rechtsstreitigkeiten aufgrund von Abweichungen entstehen. Ich muss daher möglichst nah am Original bleiben.
Vielleicht im Dt. nicht so ausführlich übersetzen, da nur im engl. die möglichst abschließende Aufzählung für die Auslegung notwendig ist und im römischen Recht eher das Abstraktionsprinzip gilt.
Black's Law Dictionary sagt: "similar to principal and agent...in which the employee has some discretion, while the servant is completely under the control of the master." Hm...
