Folgender Satz findet sich in einem Vermarktungsvertrag für Werbeflächen auf Internetseiten:

Gross Advertising Revenue shall mean Advertising Revenue less the deduction of any value added taxes and net of Agency Commission.

Bedeutet “less the deduction of” in diesem Zusammenhang “vor Abzug von”? Für sich allein würden “less” und “deduction” abzüglich bedeuten. Gross advertising revenue steht aber für Bruttowerbeeinnahme, d. h. Brutto = Gesamtbetrag, ergo ohne bzw. vor Abzug?!

So ganz schlau werde ich aus dem “less the deduction of” leider nicht & bin für jede Hilfe dankbar.
