ist das hier wohl ganz konkret.

Wobei ich eigentlich eher der Ansicht bin, dass der Begriff hier im EN schon falsch angewendet ist, weil caveat diese und auch die anderen vorgeschlagenen Bedeutungen eigentlich nicht hergibt. Ist eigentlich ein Vorbehalt, eine Warnung, etc. : http://www.dict.cc/englisch-deutsch/caveat.html

neutral  Michél Dallaserra: Der "Vorbehalt" besteht eben darin, dass ein formales Kaufinteresse ("caveat") bereits vorgelegen habe. Ob sich aus einer solchen Interessenbekundung ein Vorkaufsrecht ableiten lässt, ist zumindest aus dem gegebenen Kontext nicht ermittelbar.

  -> Ich behaupt ja nicht, dass es sich lediglich um ein formal ../Was für ein Vorbehalt sollte das sein? Vorbehalt zu Gunsten xy im Kaufvertrag? M.E. ist das hier ein Vorkaufsrecht, alles andere würde ich nicht verstehen. Welchen Zweck sollte der V. haben?

• Caveat: This indicates the rights or interests of a third party in the property. A caveat is a legal document which, when lodged in the Land Registry Office, gives the caveator the opportunity of protecting an existing right or of establishing an existing claim in property. The most common form of caveat is the caveat against dealings with the land concerned. In effect, while the caveat is in place, it forbids any dealings in the land from being registered.
