Der folgende Satz stammt aus einem Vertrag über den Bau einer Solaranlage. "The said amounts" sind in diesem Fall "price adjustments for delay or breach of warranties".

The said amounts shall be paid by way of self-settlement by reduction in the Price and shall be the only recourse which the Parties shall have in the event of breach of their respective obligations arising out of this Contract.
