In einem Vertragstext (Dienste eine Hochzeitsfotografen) steht folgender Satz zum Thema Zahlung der Schlussbetrags:
Late payments are liable to a 10% penalty loading each month overdue.
=> Bedeutet das, dass jeder Monat, der nicht gezahlt wird, 10% auf den Preis aufgeschlagen werden? Oder wie ist das zu verstehen?

Dietl/Lorenz, 6. Aufl, S. 479:
"loading [...] (VersR) (prämien-)Aufschlag zu den Verwaltungskosten; (bei Ratenzahlung) Aufschlag für Verwaltungskosten; [...]."
Black's Law Dictionary, 8. Aufl., S. 954:
"loading. Insurance. An amount added to a life-insurance premium to cover the insurer's business expenses and contingencies. — Also termed expense loading."
