Class actions are always iffy imho as that concept doesn't really exist in this form in German law.
One of the problems I see with Vertreter is that this will invariable be misunderstood as the legal counsel, which of course the class representative is not, he is as opolt pointed out the initiator of the suit or the initial plaintiff.
I haven't done court stuff in a while but I am under the impression that the term Vertreter is or should be reserved for legal counsel, and not members of the class.
