es handelt sich hier um einen britischen Vertrag, bei dem mir zur Übersetzung dieser
'testimonium and attestation clause' leider gerade keine guten Ideen kommen.

hands interpretiere ich hier als re. oder li. Hand,, je nachdem ob der Bevollm. Links-oder Rechtshänder ist. Vielleicht liege ich aber ganz daneben und hands sind hier Personen. ?????

Das As witness kann man hier getrost vergessen, hat mit Zeuge nichts zu tun, sondern ist eine alte englische Rechtsfloskel, und man darf schon dankbar sein, daß das Altfranzösiche aus der Zeit der Anjou-Plantagenet langsam verschwindet, in diesem Bereich.
